# Superhive payout schedule & minimums: creator self-check

Here the only job is: **when** creators get paid, what **minimum** unlocks a remittance, which **rails** exist, and how Help’s calendar sits next to the Terms’ first-payment / fraud-hold language.

## 1) Lead answer

1. **Process dates:** payouts are processed on the **1st and 15th** of every month ([Help 46](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/46-how-and-when-creators-get-paid)).

2. **Accrual lag:** each payout includes earnings that meet the minimum **and** were accrued **more than 15 days** prior to that payout date ([Help 46](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/46-how-and-when-creators-get-paid)).

3. **Frequency:** default is **monthly**; you may choose **once or twice** per month in creator account settings ([Help 46](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/46-how-and-when-creators-get-paid)).

4. **Minimum:** accrued earnings must be **≥ $25 USD** or the balance **carries forward** ([Help 284](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/284-minimum-payout-thresholds)). Once per year, Superhive processes a payout of earnings that are **more than twelve months old** and still under the minimum ([Help 284](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/284-minimum-payout-thresholds)).

5. **Rails:** Stripe (recommended) or PayPal; if neither serves your region, limited **WISE** countries — and WISE is **monthly only**, not semi-monthly ([Help 298](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/298-available-commission-payout-methods), [Help 273](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/273-can-i-be-paid-as-a-creator-on-blender-market)).

6. **First-sale hold (Terms):** to fight fraud, payments may be held **up to 31 days** before processing; **first** payment within **31 days** of first sale, then on the schedule you chose, subject to the minimum ([Creator Terms](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/44-terms-of-use-creator)).

Do **not** treat “I sold today” as “I get paid on the next 1st.” Age the sale **\>15 days**, clear **$25**, and clear any first-payment hold.

## 2) Calendar self-check (Help 46)

| Control | Documented rule | Honesty trap |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Process days | **1st** and **15th** every month | Promising “every Friday” like Gumroad |
| Eligible earnings | Accrued **more than 15 days** before the payout date | Counting a sale that is only 10–15 days old |
| Frequency | Default **monthly**; optional twice/month | Assuming twice/month is on without checking settings |
| Method | Whatever you saved under My Account / profile payment method | Leaving PayPal/Stripe incomplete and blaming “missing payout” |

### Accrual examples (`>` 15 days — from `run.log`)

| Sale date | Payout date | Calendar days before payout | Eligible? |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Sep 20 | Oct 1 | 11 | **No** |
| Sep 20 | Oct 15 | 25 | **Yes** |
| Oct 5 | Oct 15 | 10 | **No** |
| Oct 5 | Nov 1 | 27 | **Yes** |
| Sep 30 | Oct 15 | 15 | **No** (need **more than** 15) |

Use these as a mental model only — your dashboard remains authoritative.

## 3) Minimum $25 and the annual catch-up

From [Help 284](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/284-minimum-payout-thresholds):

1. Total accrued earnings must be **equal to or greater than $25 USD** to be included when payouts run.

2. Below minimum → **no** payment that cycle; balance **carries forward**.

3. **Once per year**, Superhive processes a single payout of creator earnings that are **more than twelve months old** and have **not** yet met the minimum.

Self-check: if you are stuck at $18 for months, do not invent a “force payout” button Help does not document — either sell through the threshold or wait for the annual aged-balance pass.

## 4) Rails: Stripe, PayPal, WISE

### Stripe (recommended)

Help recommends Stripe for more successful payouts and lower fees; after selecting Stripe, use **Update Info** and complete Stripe Connect / Express onboarding, including a bank account in local currency. Stripe may later request identity confirmation ([Help 46](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/46-how-and-when-creators-get-paid), [Help 273](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/273-can-i-be-paid-as-a-creator-on-blender-market)). Help 273 notes Stripe Connect onboarding should use an IP matching your location (location cannot be edited manually afterward per that article).

Help 273’s fee contrast (marketing on that page): Stripe currency conversion cited at **1%** vs PayPal **4%** — treat as Help text, re-open before you budget FX.

### PayPal

Enter the PayPal email on your account and update ([Help 46](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/46-how-and-when-creators-get-paid)). Critical honesty point from [Help 273](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/273-can-i-be-paid-as-a-creator-on-blender-market): being able to **buy** with PayPal ≠ being able to **receive** payouts. Some countries are **send-only**. Help points you to PayPal’s own country feature lists — those live lists were **Not verified** (not scraped) this pass; open them yourself.

Some regions require linking a US bank or Visa to retrieve funds; Help warns PayPal may hold those funds **30 days** before transfer ([Help 273](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/273-can-i-be-paid-as-a-creator-on-blender-market)).

### WISE (limited)

If Stripe and PayPal do not serve your country, Superhive lists a **limited** WISE country set (archived table includes e.g. Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Hong Kong, Mali, Nepal, Niger, Senegal, Zambia — re-open [Help 298](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/298-available-commission-payout-methods) for the live list). After creator approval, email `support@superhivemarket.com` with subject **Approved Creator - WISE Onboarding** and the bank fields Help lists.

**WISE payouts are monthly only — not semi-monthly** ([Help 298](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/298-available-commission-payout-methods), [Help 273](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/273-can-i-be-paid-as-a-creator-on-blender-market)).

If your region cannot receive via Stripe, PayPal, or WISE, Help 273 says Superhive will **not** accept you as a creator for now — better than selling into an unpaid balance.

## 5) Terms language you must not ignore (first payment & fraud)

Creator Terms ([article 44](https://support.superhivemarket.com/article/44-terms-of-use-creator)) add legal framing beside Help 46:

| Terms point | What it says | How to use it |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Fraud hold | Payments held **up to 31 days** before processing | Do not promise day-2 cash after first sale |
| First payment | Distributed **within 31 days** of first sale, then on schedule if minimum met | Align expectations with Help’s 1st/15th + >15-day accrual |
| Remittance days | First **business** day of the month or bi-monthly as chosen; if 1st is weekend or US holiday → **next business day** | Calendar ≠ bank settlement day |
| Rails named | Stripe or PayPal as chosen | WISE is Help/ops path when those fail |
| Fraud clawback | Fraudulent tx refunded; unpaid commissions removed; paid commissions recovered from **future** earnings | A “paid” month can still shrink later |

**Tension (flagged, not invented):** Help 46’s operational **1st/15th + >15 days** calendar vs Terms’ **up to 31 days** first-payment / “first business day of each month thereafter” wording. Quote both; do not invent a single merged flowchart. Exact dashboard behavior on the first cycle → **Not verified** beyond the two texts — re-open Help, Terms, and your earnings box.

Commission **rates** and merchant/transaction fee math stay in [this guide](https://kendeepp.hashnode.dev/superhive-listing-assets-commission) — this article does not redo Free/Pro/Ultimate arithmetic.

## 6) Pre-payout self-check (printable)

* \[ \] Payment method saved (Stripe Connect done / PayPal email / WISE onboarded if needed).

* \[ \] Frequency set (monthly vs twice/month); WISE users forced monthly.

*   \[ \] Accrued balance **≥ $25** **or** I accept carry-forward / annual aged payout.

* \[ \] Each sale I expect in this cycle is aged **\>15 days** before the 1st or 15th I am counting on.

* \[ \] If this is my **first** Superhive money, I planned for up to **31 days** (Terms), not “next Tuesday.”

* \[ \] I did not promise a customer a creator payout date (irrelevant) or myself a date Help cannot guarantee bank settlement for.

*   \[ \] I know fraud/refund clawbacks can hit **future** commissions (Terms 44).

*   \[ \] I am not re-deriving commission % here — [this guide](https://kendeepp.hashnode.dev/superhive-listing-assets-commission) owns that math.

## 7) What this article deliberately skips

* Creator **application → first publish** timeline → a separate guide.

*   Featured/gallery **asset specs** and Free/Pro/Ultimate **commission tables** → [this guide](https://kendeepp.hashnode.dev/superhive-listing-assets-commission).

*   **Exclusivity / multi-marketplace** policy → [this guide](https://kendeepp.hashnode.dev/superhive-exclusivity-vs-multi-marketplace).

## 8) Not verified

1. How the live earnings UI merges Help’s **\>15-day / 1st–15th** rules with Terms’ **31-day** first-payment hold on edge cases.

2. Full PayPal “send-only” country list contents (Help links out; not archived).

3. Exact Stripe Express post-setup identity timeline.

4. Whether “monthly” frequency suppresses the 15th window in the UI or only skips sending on one of the process dates — confirm in account settings.
